Shoe fly!: Vivienne Westwood Melissa Shoes - Lady Dragon

Came across these cuties in an advertisement in Nylon's March 09 issue. I love them! They remind me of the plastic shoes you used to wear to play dress up when you were just a wee sassything.
The shoes are Vivienne Westwood for Melissa. They're quite fun, can be dressed up or down, and are made of PVC.
I wonder if that will make your feet hot or sweat in the summer.
Hmmm. Maybe I'll cop a pair and let you guys know. The peach and custard (yellow) are my personal faves.

Quick Draw

Tattoo artist Bang Bang is appropriately nicknamed as he got to to ink Rihanna again, this time with guns.

The pic is where Bang Bang originally wanted to ink Rihanna but they settled for her ribcage instead as to not get Cover Girl fired up.

“I really wanted to put it here… She loved ‘em.. But, cover girl wouldn’t have liked it much… and they pay the bills!”

Summer is quickly approaching, so I'm sure Ri Ri will have her guns on display soon enough. All pun intended. :)

Sister, Sister

Check out Tia and Tamera Lowry at a TV Guide event in Hollywood. Both girls look amazing!!
Not sure whats going on with newlywed Tia, since her CW sitcom "The Game" is rumored to be on the chopping block. Tamera has a new sitcom "Roommates" which debuted on ABC Family on 3/23. Did anyone check it out?

Its Electrik!

Electrik Red, whose song So Good is on heavy rotation over at the SassyThings headquarters aka my car, also has video for their song Friend Lover. Both songs are off of their debut album How to Be a Lady Vol. 1 due out this year.

Personally, their style, personality and energy do it for me. But that's just one sassy girls opinion.

Kelis Was Here

...well not here, here, but Marketing/PR Maven Tracy Nguyen, a good friend of Kelis', gives us the inside scoop on what the pop star has been up to since we haven't seen her in a while.

Nas let us know last month that his wife Kelis is expecting their first child, a boy, later this year and according to Tracy, Kelis graduated from culinary school last year and is now officially a chef. She also plans to open up a restaurant soon.

And as for Kelis' own bun in the oven, Tracy had this to say,

"She looks more gorgeous than ever with an UNBELIEVABLE glow, is in AMAZING shape (only signs of pregnancy is in her tummy) and she is so excited about the baby."

And because you can always count on Kelis for something Young, Fresh n' New, check her new do.

Flower Child...

Britney Spears is NOT but she is rocking some hot Christian Louboutin Dillian Flower Pumps $1,695 in her video for If U Seek Amy (F.U.C.K. Me for those of you who are behind ;))

Clearly Sass in on a Louboutin kick, but how could I not be? He makes some dope ass shoes! Anyhooo, you can head on over to Britney's site to catch the video of "If You Seek Amy" and take a peek at those hot pumps.

Shoe Fly! Carnaval Baby!

My sassy eye first spied the Christian Louboutin Carnaval peep-toe pump during Grammy week on siren Keyshia Cole.
A week later, a sultry Jennifer Lopez rocked them on a romantic Valentine's Day date. This week, while watching former child of destiny, Letoya Luckett's video for the Ne-Yo penned Not Anymore, the shoes captured my attention yet again. Lets take a gander, shall we?

This hot "red bottom" is made of silk and crepe satin for the feathers found in the heel cap. The heel is about 4 inches and will only set you back a measly $1665. :)

A sassy girl can dream, can't she?
