38 year old Oscar nominated actress Taraji Henson bares all for InStyle Magazine.
I'm glad Taraji is getting the shine that she is. She is a great actress, each role she takes on is absolutely believable.
I keep looking at this picture wondering if Taraji has had a tummy tuck. That's the type of tattoo I plan on getting to cover the scar from mine once I have the procedure done lol

Shoe Fly! Wishlist
No matter the weather my sassy eye is always on the hunt for some sexy footwear. A sassy girl's day definitely varies, so a ton of shoes is always justified in my book. You never know what the day will bring.
I never thought I had a "style" but judging from the similarities in these shoes, I guess I do. Peep toes all the way for the summer, and I'm a sucker for a heel although I've trading in my stilettos for flats more and more recently.

Get Wild and Free tomorrow
with MAC's Style Warrior Collection.
This is definitely going to be one of those collections where I have to pick up at least one thing simply because of the packaging.
The colors are not as bright and funky as the packaging, but that's what makes this collection work for me. These shimmering and bronzing shades, some with a pop of color, are perfect for the upcoming summer months.
Here's what I'm checking for from this collection:
From left to right:
Eversun beauty blush ~ Neutral peach bronze with gold pearl
Smolder eye kohl ~ Intense black
Bronzescape solar bits ~ clean yellow brown with gold pearl
Impassioned solar bits ~ frosty cool taupe
Scatterrays solar bits ~ neutral peach bronze with gold pearl
The Solar Bits which I believe first debuted in the Neo Sci-Fi collection interested me then, but I wasn't sure how I would use them, or which to get. I won't let them get away this time though.
from left to right:
Vibrant Grape eye shadow ~ Bright magenta purple
Gold Rebel lipglass ~ Sheer copper bronze with pearl
Brave New Bronze lipstick ~ Creamy mid-tone pink nude
Here are some more items that I'm either on the fence about or intrigue me but I'm not sure how I would use them...I'll try them out when I hit the counter:
Bronzing Powder and Lustre Drops
Skin Sheen
182 Buffer Brush
I know I want this brush for sure. It just that sometimes MAC's prices....
This collection hits stores tomorrow..check it out and let me know what you get.
Or hit me on Twitter and let's discuss! :)

Some of that Honey love
MAC is creating quite the buzz with their Naked Honey collection available at MAC stores and counters June 11th.
I've been known to go buck wild at the MAC store and suffer the consequences later, so now I head to the counter with what I want already in mind. Here's what I'm checking for from this collection:
from left to right:
Golden Nectar High-light powder ~ Creates soft highlights on cheek, brow, shoulders-anywhere on the body
Buckwheat Eye Shadow ~ Dark copper brown w/ multi-dimensional pearl
Pollinator eye shadow ~ mid-tone warm reddened peach w/ pearl
Buzz lipglass ~ Dark copper brown w/ multi-dimensional pearl
Queen Bee lipglass ~ mid-tone apricot w/ multi-dimensional pearl
The Naked Honey collection also features body products such as Naked Honey Skin Salve, Hand & Body cream, and Body Wash. They've also created 2 scents for the collection, Naked Honey and Africanimal (??) <-- whats up with the name? Naked Honey is described as: An aromatic journey that traces honey's fragrant heart back to summer's sweetest blooms. Energy starts to buzz, spirits soar, light floral and woodsy notes float toward and electric finale. Sweet and sexy all the way. Just like a sassy girl :) I'll definitely take a whiff when I get to the store. Don't forget to follow your girl Sass on Twitter!

I'mma Be...dancing my ass off
Rap-Up.com has the new Black Eyed Peas buzz single Imma Be. Rap-up says this track won't be their 2nd single but it will definitely make you move. Fergie made me want to stab myself in the eardrum with the "3008, 2000 late" ish, but this song more than makes up for that and I'm not even a B.E.P. fan. Dare I say I like each of their flows on this??? And the beat(s) KNOCK!
Imma Be has many layers and builds to where the end sounds nothing like how it began. Click the pic below and listen for yourself.

Trust Me!
One of my favorite songs on Keyshia Cole's latest, Trust featuring Monica. So glad to have Monica back on the music scene.
And speaking of Monica, did you peep her jeweled yellow jacket in the video? Rihanna had on the same jacket last night in NYC.

09 Costume Institute Gala at the Met
The “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City went down on Monday May 4th.
Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham both in Marc Jacobs, and Rihanna in Dolce & Gabanna all did IT for me. Vicky, her flawless face is enough, Kate was giving me Eartha Kitt (RIP), and Rih-Rih.... what more do I need to say?
And though it was a costume gala, Madonna, the material girl herself took it too far in my opinion, as did Leighton Meister (whom I love), both in Louis Vuitton.
As someone who watches The Devil Wears Prada every weekend (shh don't tell anybody), I know Anne Hathaway can do better. I thought her dress was too dark for her fair skin, and the hair, too big. But from far away it doesn't look too bad lol
I love Ashley Olsen's look, she rocked her own design, and the look definitely worked for her. Her sister Mary-Kate in Christian Lacroix, not so much. But I must keep in mind, it is a costume gala.
Blake Lively in Versace, I can't decide how I feel about this look. I love Blake, love the color of the dress and she looks fabulous, the cleavage was a bit much for me though. The girl gives great face and the color looked great on her.

Shoe Fly! Sandal Search
So I fell in love with this sandal today...
the milan flat by zigi shoes
I think they would look absolutely smashing against my chocolate legs this summer.
But they are sold out in my size :( And because I'm completely OCD, I've gone on a manhunt for a simlar if not the same pair of sandals.
I found these, but they don't quite do it for me like the Zigis do. I like that the Zigis are darker. Plus they cost $129.95. 130 bucks for sandals you're not absolutely in love with is a bit much.
Here is a more colorful version from Bakers. I think they're cute but I'm not really feeling the snake skin thong portion of the sandal. These are $59.95
jewel by bakers
Thoughts??
